Cancellation policy.

Traffic management deployments require advance scheduling of crews, equipment, vehicles, and authority approvals. The notice periods below apply to confirmed bookings — give more than 48 hours' notice for no fee.

Traffic management deployments require advance scheduling of crews, equipment, vehicles, and authority approvals. To deliver reliable service and protect both clients and crews, the following cancellation terms apply to confirmed bookings.

Notice periods

  • More than 48 hours' notice — no cancellation fee.
  • 24–48 hours' notice — 50% of the booked shift fee may be charged to cover crew commitments.
  • Less than 24 hours' notice — the full shift fee may be charged to cover crew, equipment, and lost allocation.

On-site cancellations

If a crew has already mobilised or arrived on site and the booking is cancelled, the full shift fee plus any travel and equipment hire costs will apply.

Weather and safety

Where MLA Traffic determines that conditions are unsafe to proceed, no cancellation fee applies. Where the client cancels for weather reasons outside our determination, standard notice-period fees apply.

Postponements

Where possible we will reschedule a postponed shift in lieu of charging a cancellation fee, subject to crew and equipment availability.
