FAQ
Frequently asked.
- Do you handle both the plan and the on-site crew?
- Yes — MLA is VicRoads pre-qualified for both Traffic Management Design (TMD) and Implementation (TMI), Categories 1 & 2. One contractor, one invoice, one accountable team from plan to pack-down.
- How quickly can you mobilise?
- Under 2 hours for confirmed emergency callouts within metro Melbourne. For planned works we recommend 4–10 business days notice to secure crews and permits.
- Do you cover regional Victoria?
- Yes — we mobilise from our Epping depot across metro Melbourne, plus Geelong, Ballarat, Bendigo, the Latrobe Valley, and other locations within roughly an hour's drive of Melbourne.
- What does traffic control cost per hour in Melbourne?
- Pricing varies with crew size, hours, equipment, and timing (day vs night, weekday vs weekend). [CONTENT NEEDED — typical rate range]. We quote per project after a site brief.
- What if our project changes mid-week?
- We absorb scope changes within the original engagement where possible — extra crew, extended hours, additional equipment. Variations get logged so there are no invoice surprises.
